It&#39;s just a little hard to find this restaurant, but when you enter, you are in a lovely environment. The service is perfectly attentive, and the food superb. This is Ligurian cuisine, that is, a little further north than Rome (Genova, Cinqueterre). Therfore, the fish is better than what one will find in Roman restaurants. We liked the wine from Cinqueterre.

The sprouts of ferns are a specialty here. People pick only the young sprouts, soak them in salt water and cook them. This processed leeks can be fried, simmered, and vinegar stained.

If you&#39;re in Rome and you fancy something other than Italian food you MUST visit this restaurant. The service was impeccable, the food was just amazing. I would recommend this place highly.

Super fresh sushi. Perfectly cooked and seasoned rice. There&rsquo;s many things to choose from and everything we ordered was very good. Prices seemed a bit high at first sight but the portion sizes are more than fair. That said, this is not a cheap restaurant, which makes sense considering how many chefs work there to make your food from scratch.

The delicious food is more than everything, refreshing my recognition of Italian food. &quot;ham and melon&quot; Italian melon is really sweet, never tire of eating, the most missed after returning home must be this. The ham is a bit hard, not delicious in Florence. The &quot;homemade lasagna&quot; lasagne is also delicious. The cheese and meat sauce are perfectly combined and the fragrance is strong. &quot;lamb Scottish lamb chops&quot; are too tender, super delicious, and the fat is even better if you thinner a little bit. &quot;Tiramisu&quot; is highly recommended, must order! I regret not eating! It is better than the 400-year-old shop in Siena! It is equipped with a homemade lemon wine, because I don&#39;t drink, so I feel a little rush. But the cake is so delicious!

The restaurant is a short walk from St. Peter&rsquo;s Basilica and is a very traditional atmospheric place. The food and service were excellent and given the location the prices were very good. The Minestrone Soup was fantastic and all of the meat dishes we chose were delicious.

Every time we come Rome, this is the first restaurant we visit - it is the best as far as we are concerned. The owner Mario and his excellent staff always make us feel welcome. The food is absolutely outstanding. We simply order the fresh fish of the day and have them prepare it the way they choose. For appetizers, we had the anchovies marinated with lemon and fried zucchini blossoms, a perfect preparation for the fresh fish main course. This time it was a wonderful branzino (for two), simply grilled with.some olive oil, lemon, and olives - very tender and delicious. For contorni (side dishes), we had the spinach and roasted potatoes, a perfect accompaniment to the fish.  Finally, for dessert, we had the heavenly Tartufo della Casa. This is a classic restaurant (you can tell as soon as you walk in) of which there are fewer and fewer in Rome. We are always guaranteed a memorable experience, and that&#39;s why we keep returning. If you are looking for a quiet and romantic restaurant that serves delectable food, the Taverna Giulia is for you. Grazie Mario for another perfect evening!

Wonderful restaurant, traditional, fresh, Italian food. We both had fish and it was very good. Puddings equally good. It&rsquo;s my third time eating at the restaurant and I will he back again.

This restaurant makes the best pesto ever. The service is friendly and excellent. The grilled fish is superb. Plus, tartufo gelato is on the menu. We love this place.
